中国・浙江省南部を拠点に活動するインディーロックバンド。
2023年春、結成。
ストレートなロックを軸に、インディーロック、ノイズロック、ジャズ、レゲエなど、さまざまな音楽的要素を取り込みながら、独自のグルーヴと強烈なライブパフォーマンスを生み出している。
ジャンルにとらわれることなく、それぞれの音楽性をひとつの有機的なサウンドへと融合させ、ステージ上では剥き出しの生命力を放つ。
彼らの音楽が描き出すのは、決して重苦しいだけの世界ではない。鋭く、生々しいサウンドによって、聴く者の内側に深すぎず、しかし確かに残る傷を刻み込む。その傷口から、普段は押し込められている熱や衝動が、ゆっくりと滲み出してくるような音楽だ。
2025年、初のフルアルバム『性格缺失』をセルフプロデュースでリリース。同年12月には、中国35都市を巡る全国ツアーをスタート。
その圧倒的なライブパフォーマンスから、現在中国本土では「生命力に満ちたライブバンド」として注目を集めている。

Characterless is a band based in the mountainous southern region of Zhejiang, China. Their music moves freely between indie rock, noise rock, and groove-driven explorations of jazz, funk, and reggae. Rather than treating genre as a boundary, Characterless approach music as a living, physical thing—restless, instinctive, and always in motion.
Sharp-edged and uncompromising, their songs are built around tension, release, and the raw energy of a live band. Characterless aim to leave a small but lasting rupture in the listener—just enough for suppressed passion and restless energy to break through the surface.
In 2025, Characterless independently produced and released their self-titled debut album, Characterless. Later that year, they took the album on a 35-city nationwide tour across China, bringing their intense and unpredictable live show to venues across the country. The tour established Characterless as a fiercely committed live band with a growing following in China.
